Please go have your own experience at this store! The guys that work there know there stuff and are willing to help out anyway they can. If you want to go to a spotless pet store where they have the exact same boring stuff at high prices don’t go here. if f you are looking for one of those killer random pet stores where you never know what cool stuff they might have week by week or they can order you anything you want or help you figure out what you want go here. So much cool stuff! They take good care of there animals here plz ignore people who say they don’t take care of their animals, every time i go in this place (at least once a week) both guys if they aren’t with customers are cleaning something or have an animal out. EVERYTIME. I’ve read the other comments and people don’t realize that pet stores often receive animals that need care before they even get to them. These guys take very good care of all of their animals.

Unfortunately the animals are kept in very bad condition. The fish look better looked after than the black rabbits who are in a low ventilated plastic tank in this heat. Products were dusty and dirty, there were beautiful snakes with sheds all around their enclosure like it hasn't been cleaned for a while. About 5 guinea pigs with 1 small hiding place to share. I think what put me off the most was the rabbits. They were kept in such small cages. And the ones who were in the bigger tanks looked very hot, panting and stressed. They do have a good selection of things but I'd really like to see their animal care improve. Love to all pets 💖

This place was horrible. There was a large lizard-type reptile at the front of the door in a glass tank that was the size of its body without water or anything in it. The animals were cramped and the birds acted terrified when approached in the cages. The water filters in the fish tanks had debris caked all over them. Guy managing the place had NO shoes on and walked outside to play with what I'm assuming is wood shavings? Bedding? Genuinely horrified by the conditions of the place. Called humane animal services to check it out. This place needs shut down.

☆☆☆☆☆ The guy Jessie knows his stuff. Extremely knowledgeable all over the board. By far, the most stocked, exzotic store I've seen in NC. Nice selection of aquatic and air plants. Even the feeder rats are a special breed. Reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend, from entry level to enthusiast. Dope shop!

I am absolutely heartbroken by what I witnessed. The conditions these animals are kept in are completely unacceptable, filthy enclosures, little to no enrichment, and visible signs of stress and neglect. It’s clear that their well being is not a priority. No animal deserves to live like this. I would strongly advise others to stay away and urge the authorities. Truly a disturbing experience
