Had called multiple companies in NYC to have a breakdown of my tank for a long distance move. Received an immediate response for a quote with a call to fully understand exactly what I wanted done. When a time was set up to complete the work it was done on time and EXACTLY what I wanted done. Noel was also a huge help to put me in contact with a quality LFS in Florida and I look forward to working with them. I wish I had found Anchor a year ago when i began the hobby as they are knowledgeable and great to work with.

Noel and Hal from Anchor Aquarium are total pleasures to work and absolutely amazing at their jobs. I had an emergency situation following a fire in apartment and needed my tank and fish moved quickly. They came to my house the next day and managed to move my 20 gallon tank from a third floor walk-up to a fourth floor walk up in no time. And the tank looks wayyyyy better than before the move. Hire these guys!

After an exhaustive search to locate someone reliable and competent to service my salt water tank, I couldn't be happier with Noel. He's like a modern day Jacques Cousteau!! Unparalleled expertise and passionate about creating a spectacular aquarium. Highly recommend!

Caring for any pet in an aquarium can be a big messy pain.... unless you have awesome people design it, set it up, and make it very easy to maintain. We have a beautiful 45 gallon Malawian cichlid tank (including new babies!). I was super excited when we got it, but never thought I would love it this much. We watch our tank more than TV. The monthly maintenance is about the cost of one nice dinner out. Totally worth it. Anyone that comes into our apartment is pretty blown-away to see our tank. It's a great conversation piece and a fascinating piece of art to meditate on. We also just had them design a sweet little terrarium for our living room. After seeing ridiculously expensive "kits" (pretty much mason jars and mulch), I asked and Anchor made me a little ecosystem in what I like to think is a one-of-a-kind antique glass container. It looks that way to me! No maintenance required on this baby either except some water misting! A little garden in my apartment! The guys here are super creative, professional, and obviously love what they do.
