This is an old school pet store, reminiscent of petland from back in the day. The staff is always super helpful and kind. Multiple times they’ve gone out of their way to help me and made sure I was getting what I asked for. Also probably the only pet store I’ve seen in the city that has an assortment of vivariums, aquariums, crates, etc. at reasonable prices. One of the last pet stores in the city looking out for the working class man.

OK so this will be my last review of the year with this place and I must say, what a year it has been. From the 1st review to now this place has made significant changes for the better. Workers are attentive to customers, place looks cleaner and people look like they enjoy being there. Things in which I look for in a neighborhood pet store who has to fight with the big names. Kudos to those apart of the change and thank you to the Birdman. Gold star to all 🌟 (ps- pic is of a baby platy. I got their parent from the store! )

Staff was pleasant and kind my poodle is 3 and has very bad anxiety when it comes to getting his hair cut! .... groomer was super sweet during pick-up time! I gave a brief explanation on his fears and my concerns I felt at ease leaving him. Not to mention the price is very reasonable.

Charming neighborhood gem.. Fish dept small but worthly packed with quality (some exotic) stock & aquatic plants, aquarium supplies. Also is stocked with supplies for all pet needs- dogs cats birds & reptiles. Even nice selection of houseplants. Saturday morning peals of joy from neighborhood kids makes it magical.
