Honestly, I would give this place zero stars if I could. I purchased a bearded dragon from this place last week. The reason for my one star is because of the horrendous condition that they sold me my dragon. It was communicated to me that she had been there for 10 months which puts this establishment entirely responsible for her current condition. After bringing her home and being assured that she just had a minor eye issue that was "getting better" I noticed that she wasnt very active, couldnt open her eyes, and was overall in really poor shape. I am new to dragons so I relied on the expertise of the people that should be allowed to sell them. This establishment, should not be allowed to sell animals. After spending 600 dollars in vet bills I was sent home with a diagnosis of extreme dehydration, two eye infections that are so severe that I was sent home with 40 syringes and antibiotics and steriods after also having to have her at the office get injections including a vitamin A booster since the bloodwork came back in such poor levels. Calcium deficiency, and bone issues were all a direct result of the negligence and neglect of this establishment. Shame on the owner of this establishment. Shame on the people that day in and day out watched this poor helpless bearded dragon get worse and worse and never consider paying the necessary costs to get her back the health. As a business owner you have a responsibility to make sure that these animals are well taken care of or at least have the minimally necessary treatment to make sure they are healthy. On top of all those medical issues already stated, she's also pregnant. So you choose to neglect a pregnant bearded dragon that was dying from the inside out. Her enclosure was not suitable for laying her eggs so they have been staying inside her. I have antibiotics, I have steroid injections, I have oral medications that need to be given daily along with having to get her appetite, weight, hydration, calcium and vitamin A deficiencies all under control. I spend my days worrying about her and if she will make it through. The vet said if she has stayed untreated that she would have been dead soon. From what should have been an awesome purchase and a wonderful experience, you have brought be stress, anxiety, discomfort and you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. I will be reaching out to the appropriate local officials to look into the medical condition of the other animals that are in your care and I will be filing a formal complaint for the abuse of animals and neglect through those appropriate authorities. You are extremely lucky that I was able to get her when I did cause she might have a fighting chance to be saved. You are also extremely lucky that I have the necessary funds to cover the absorbent costs of immediate emergency care that she needed. I will never recommend that someone shop in your location and the over 5 million viewes that follow my reviews are also aware of this situation. I have been a local guide for Google for years. I try not to ever post negative reviews because of the influence that I have, but some situations call for these measures. Ya'lll better hope she makes it through this.

Excellent pet store with an AMAZING staff. 🦈🐟🐠🐑 I don't have any fish or reptiles at the moment but I come here with my friend about once a week for his fish and I look forward to seeing everything on display! 🀩 They recently made a special order for him and got him a great price which REALLY made him happy! 😁 They have fish and critters in there that I didn't even know people would have as pets, like catfish and stingrays! Yes, STINGRAYS!! I couldn't believe it! 🀩 They're conveniently located right on Route 22 in North Plainfield and are open until 8pm during the week which was definitely a PLUS! They have MANY fish and supplies that other places may not normally carry and/or order for you. Plus, they have EXTREMELY competitive prices. πŸ€‘πŸ«°πŸ»πŸ’² So, I give Ocean Gallery a 10 out of 10 for their EXCELLENT staff, STUNNING inventory and AMAZING prices! πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ’―πŸ”₯πŸ€©πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Went in to check this place out as I’d never been before. Dead fish floating in the freshwater tanks is unfortunately β€˜normal’ for stores selling fish, but I’ve honestly never seen dead koi before or such sickly & melting away large pond fish barely hanging on to life as here. From the other side of the basement where the pond fish are kept, I thought the 6+ inch long comet goldfish just had large white patches, but when I got to their tank to check them out I saw that it was a full body infection causing their skin & scales to basically be melting away. No sign indicating they were being treated for it, only price tags. The reptile area was worse. These were some of the smallest & neglected cages I’ve seen in quite some time. Young ball pythons, geckos, hognose, etc kept in what looked like less than 1 gallon tank rack systems without even a hide for comfort. Everything was way too small, improper bedding, dirty, empty water bowls, humidity requirements for delicate species ignored, blatantly sickly as well as dead animals that’d been dead long enough to have their body dry up & wither, skin cracking open over joints. Yet still had price tags on each of the cages except for a couple that were holds/boarding for people. Those ones, even though not the stores, were also kept in poor conditions. There was a lone rabbit in the back of the reptile area & the bedding had obviously not been cleaned in far too long to the point I saw mold. I took what pictures I could, but wasn’t able to get a photo of each problem without someone seeing.
