Five-Star Experience with Fitz's – Above and Beyond Service I’ve always maintained my pond myself, usually spending an entire Saturday taking shortcuts that never quite got me the results I wanted. One day, I happened to see a Fitz’s truck driving through my neighborhood, and on a whim, I decided to check out their services. That turned out to be an incredibly lucky day. I scheduled a full pond cleaning for May 19th, and the price was more than reasonable considering everything included. They were going to handle all the things I would have done—if only I had the time. Abraham and Brett arrived at 10:45 a.m. and worked until about 5 p.m. They removed all the fish and kept them safe in side tanks filled with the existing pond water. They power-washed the rocks, re-secured the loose ones, refilled the pond, and gently reintroduced the fish. When they were done, the pond looked brand new—honestly, better than I could have ever done myself. Abraham and Brett were professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and even gave us helpful suggestions for maintaining the pond better. Their attention to detail over six hours completely transformed the space. Communications with Tyler and Hope in the office were just as great—keeping me informed every step of the way before the appointment. Thank you all for the amazing refresh. Amazing aquascaping store - easily the best I’ve found in greater NYC area for aquascape supplies - both plants and hardscape. Large supplies of many different varieties of stone and wood, huge variety of plants (including tissue culture), and their large variety of aquarium fish are all fully quarantined and medicated before sale! Includes a dojo for trying tank layouts before purchase. Jenn and Howard are also both super helpful and knowledgeable. So great to have such an excellent store. (FFP aquascaping is located inside the Fitz’s Fish Ponds store - quick ride app drive from Dunellen NJ Transit station).

Great selection of plants, fish, and aquascaping supplies! I've been looking all over NJ for a place like this! I'm also impressed with how well everything was labeled and maintained. The display tanks alone are worth the trip! Howard was very helpful and knowledgeable. I picked up a plant but haven't planted it yet. I'll definitely be coming back!

This place on rt 22 is literally the best place for plants and goldfish, best quality and best prices in NJ hands down! Howard was super helpful with all the information i needed for which plants to use! And they have beautiful quality fancies! Ranchus orandas and ryukins! Best fish store ive ever been to in my life!

We are having our backyard pond this week and I realized there is a Fitz Fish pond store right next to my work in Green Brook. I’ve been there 2 times last week to prepare and ask questions about everything fish and ponds since I’m new to the world of ponds. The first visit I met Ryan and he was very welcoming and helpful and help me and my wife with all our questions and helped my selected items I needed. The second time I went in and met Howard and he was just as awesoem as Ryan and helped me with creating a Bog garden and really explained everything I needed to do and items I needed. Today was day one with the construction of my backyard pond and the construction crew was amazing. Everything experience I had with Fitz’s has been great. Great culture in the company. Customers #1 and I appreciate that.
