I was very sad coming here. I was very disappointed with the care of the animals. The fish had ick, the aquariums were dirty, on the bottom of the aquatic plant tank there was a piece of scrap metal, they were cohabitating two adult leopard geckos and a baby bearded dragon, and worst of all I found a VERY skinny savannah monitor. She was clearly very sick and skinny. She didn't react to my touch and never opened her eyes. Monitors are very active and move to move. They require very big enclosures. She was in a small gecko display cage. I was very sad to see this. Please do research on how to care for the animals. Update: I revisited the store to see if there were any improvements. Definitely cleaner. Unfortunately, the care has not changed. I took more photos but I can’t figure out how to post them on an edited post. They had multiple lizard species in one tank. Green iguana, spiny tail iguana, red headed agama, tarantula, millipede and another invert. Then there were gargoyle geckos and crested geckos in one cage. Gargoyle gecko will eat the crested gecko. Plus they’re both males, very aggressive. Corpse fish is still there and covered in ick.

I have been going here since I was a child. It seems dark and dingy, but there's everything. And if it's not in stock, don't be afraid to ask the gentleman who works there! He's a wealth of knowledge and can order anything for you! I'd rather support a local little shop than a big chain any day. Plus, they usually have super cool shop fish that you don't always get to see. They also have the shop pet fish for a super duper long time, so you know they take care of their animals, reptiles, and fish REALLY well. Check out upstairs for flying friends or rodents!

Mom and pop store, wonderful people! They have some small animals and a few birds upstairs and down they have reptile room and aquarium area with a plethora of fish! Always pleasant greeting with a smile. Check it out!

We stopped here yesterday 11/16/24 and my wife and I were discussed with this place. Some of the fish tanks were leaking all over the floor. He had a large I’d say 60 gallon tank with the light off severely overstocked with cichlids with a giant tiger Oscar.. Couple of the other tanks, the fish had ick. In some other tanks there were angel fish dead and dying. All of the tanks looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks. This place should be shut down! Driving by this place, you would think it was an abandoned building if it wasn’t for the light up sign in the door you would think it was.. How does the state state of New Hampshire let this guy keep this place open???? all of these animals in this place should be taken out and given a better home.

Love buying from small, local businesses versus those big box stores. Tommy is very knowledgeable and helpful.
