Pet Supplies Plus Springfield (W. Kearney)

The most recent time I was at this store, I experienced several instances of severely poor customer service. There were three employees behind the register, and only one was actually working - a guy with glasses and a work shirt riddled with holes (it doesn't matter if he had a second shirt beneath it - get the guy another shirt, you can afford it). I asked for crickets, and he took his precious time getting them. He asked one of the girls behind the register if she could ring me up while he got the crickets, and she flat out said "No." Not "No, I'm not on the clock," not "No, I don't have an open register," just "No." The two girls 'working' seemed more interested in carrying on some gossipy conversation than in doing their jobs. I understand having good rapport with your coworkers, but speaking as someone in management, there's a time and place. Behind the register, your customer should be your focus. The kicker came whenever I had paid for the crickets. Rather than hand me my bag, all three employees abruptly ran off to look at one of the animals. If it was an emergency, that's one thing, but even then why would it need to involve all three employees? Overall, I'd rather go outside and catch the crickets myself than return here, unless there's a dramatic change in the level of customer service.

Everyone is always so nice and helpful and knowledgeable!! Would definitely recommend this store in particular for ALL YOUT PET NEEDS and wants!!

All employees are very helpful and friendly. The manager explained a lot the dog foods to me.I got a dog from a rescue in Texas she was at a high kill Shelter and pregnant. I buy her hartwick chicken breast jerky and other treats and toys . Go check the place out they have a lot stuff and if you sign up for rewards you get great percentile off. Do it yourself grooming.or they have a groomer too. GI check them out .

They had most of what I was looking for. Only had 1 item they didn’t carry. The regional manager told me about another kind of food (Halo) that would be just a good for my dog, already had the Glucosamine added to the food; which would save on that cost. Also the food he showed me was about $20 cheaper for the same size 22 pound bag.

Redford food is good brand heathy got for my new rescue dog Got her stuffed animal a lamb but unfortunately she already tore up and bought her Science chicken jerky and pedigree dental chews chicken but didn't like. Young gal helped me decided a good food for her. She was very helpful and friendly works evenings early on Kearney St Springfield Missouri west Kearney st.nice and helpful people in there and I get 25 percent off with coupon they mail me. I would recomend this Pet Store.👌The lady that helped me was assistant manager I believe I will have to get her name.Im bad about remembering names.
