Petland St. Louis

My wife and I were looking to get her a puppy for service dog training. She has been waiting since 2016 to get this opportunity. Madeline and another kind gentleman helped us out and were patient, informative, and helpful in all of our inquiries. My wife found an amazing fit and as her first puppy. She got all her questions answered and walked through the whole process. Kind people working here and would recommend to anyone.

My stepdaughter loves to come here and play with puppies. We aren’t in the market for a dog but she loves to play with the puppies. Sometimes they pressure you pretty hard to buy a dog but the last time they just simply asked and we said no and that was that. She didn’t put any pressure on us which I was thankful for because I hate that. She thanked us for playing with the dog and giving it some interaction which I thought was sweet.

The adoptable puppies are so sweet! The staff members are really helpful and encourage the interactions with the puppies so they can become familiar with people. Highly recommend visiting this location!

I purchased a Great Dane puppy on 3-11-2025 and had to rush her to the emergency vet on 3-13-2025 To find out she has pneumonia and has had it for a couple days. They hasn’t refunded me for what I paid out of pocket but paid ex for the rest of her treatments and now my other dog is coming sick from it. They said they refund me for what I paid out of pocket and offered a 100 dollar gift card to petland. I had to call off work a day for it. What am i supposed to do after paying 4,700 for the dog it self plus my over 500 dollar vet bill and now to pay 3000 or more my other dog is going to coast me 🤬

After having a pretty terrible experience at the Fenton location, I was directed to the Lake St. Louis store. I worked with Dustin and I could not be more please! After explaining my situation, Dustin and the other members of staff did everything they could to help me feel heard and understood. He worked with me to the best of his ability to make things right. Because of this, my granddaughter and I were able to go home with the sweetest little puppy to add to our family. Thank you so much Dustin and staff at Lake St. Louis! You are all so appreciated!
