This was the only exotics store I would shop at. I will be taking my business to metro Detroit from now on. I had surrendered a very pricey exotic to this store due to the fact it didn’t work well in my lifestyle anymore and was not allowed according to my lease. I have spent a lot of money here (including a ferret) and was told I would receive a in store credit for the exotic. Cool great. 3 months later and Lucas who said I would receive some form Of in store credit no longer would even acknowledge texts. Half of which were simply updates on the ferret I got from them. I was in the store today to get a play mate for my ferret. I was treated very coldly and asked about the in store credit. To which I was told that’s not up to him and that I surrendered her and they don’t do that. So they have gone back completely on their word. Took in a $1k exotic from me and then basically told me to eat poo. I will never give this store my business again. I don’t support slimy business and thats exactly what they did to me. Slime balled me. I do not recommend buying from them. They will lie and manipulate and then go back on what they promised.

I recently visited this reptile shop, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The moment I walked in, I noticed that many of the snakes had mites crawling all over them and were latched onto there skin. Especially all over the face and underside. This is all very concerning because as many know mites can and will kill snakes. Another thing is some of the snakes were moving almost lethargic. To make matters even worse, they were selling ball pythons and boas that were way too small and young to be sold. It's irresponsible to sell snakes that young, and it really speaks volumes about the shop's ethics. Another thing is most of the animals' water bowls were either empty or disgustingly dirty, which is unacceptable for any pet store. The enclosures were also a major issue. Many of the snakes were in enclosures that were clearly too small or too big for them, which is cruel and inhumane. On top of that, the cages were filthy, with poop smeared all over them. It was obvious that the animals were not being properly cared for, and the overall environment was unsanitary and neglectful. Another think when I was in there I was looking at the other animals they had like bunnies, turtles, lizards, bearded dragons, and some of the other exotic animals there and there cages and enclosures were not up to standards that those kinds of animals should be in. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who cares about animal welfare. The conditions were appalling, and it's clear that the owners do not prioritize the health and well-being of their animals. Save your time and money and go to a reptile shop that actually cares about their animals

This has been one of my favorite pet shops to visit. I live hours away from custom creatures, yet my girlfriend and I have made multiple trips up there just to see all of the beautiful creatures they have. My absolute favorite was when they had two baby capybaras on site, not only could we see them but we were able to get up close and personal with them! I highly recommend taking a trip to visit this location for anyone who loves any kind of creature. 5/5 and I will be back hopefully very soon!
