Great shop for fish and aquatic needs. Employees are very knowledgeable. My son wanted to get his tank back up and. Going after a few years of not having any fish so we took a water sample in that they tested and let us know the water was good to go.

Thought this fish shop was beautiful when I came in, was looking for African dwarf frogs. When the woman was getting three frogs out for me she asked if it was okay if one didn’t have an arm. I said preferably not, did it get bitten or? Or…. So she says okay and gets me three frogs. I looked at them as I left but I should have looked better because once I got home I realized one frog did not have a back foot. He couldn’t swim to the top of my tank because his swimming abilities were so bad without the foot. I did call the shop and ask about this and the man told me they can regrow their feet, I researched this and that isn’t true when they are adults and not tadpoles. The frog couldn’t make it to the top and once it finally did it just floated there for a few hours. The frog didn’t make it to the the next morning. The next week about 7 days later my other 2 frogs from this shop started to act strange, only floating at the top of the tank and never coming down. I was hoping they were okay but then the other two frogs I had (not from this pet store) started acting the same way and now all of my frogs have died with the same floating at the top/lethargy that I believe was bacteria infection from that first frog that didn’t have a foot. I was disappointed in the quality of the tank those frogs came from, having a bunch swimming around without legs is really sad. Especially when they are apparently spreading infection.

The best salt and freshwater fish store in the Tri State. The coral selection is expansive with something for every budget. I've never had a poor experience with fish health. The staff and ownership are knowledgeable and friendly. It's the only place I go for my tanks.

Never a dull moment at Discover Aqautics. This is the go to fish store in the Cincinnati area. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Whether I had questions about fish care or needed advice on tank setups, they were knowledgeable and eager to assist. The store is spotless and well-organized, making it a pleasure to browse. On top of that, their pricing is unbeatable for the quality and variety they offer. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my aquarium needs! Highly recommend!

The owner presented strong communication and corrected any mistakes that were present, and even reached out afterwards to make sure everything was good with my order. The owner was even able to obtain Specific coral I was looking for.
