“2nd edit. I received another simple email that stated order was canceled and refund issued. No explanation as to why. If I had to guess, the website claiming to have something didn't actually have it. I only say this because I was trying my hardest to find a certain item that would appear to have been discontinued a while ago. But this shop claimed to have it in stock. If that were true, it would have LITERALLY been the last one in the world. I was willing to try. So what's been learned is if you aren't going physically in to this store, I would be very hesitant about what you see online from them. I know it's a small shop. But at some point, if you want to remain a small shop by principal and commitment (nothing wrong with that at all) don't be online. And if you are online, make sure your inventory is updated. Edited to add contact. I received an email back that simply stated they would look into it. I will update accordingly .... So far, I can only rate what has transpired. I placed an online order 9/13/25, received auto receipt from square. I sent an email after a couple days asking how long from the time an order is placed until it ships. I've heard NOTHING. Tried to call a few minutes ago and autoforwarded to voice-mail. Sent another email as written documentation, that if I don't hear anything within one week from today (deadline of 9/24/25) that I'll dispute the charge to my card as fraudulent/product not received. I don't normally do negative reviews. But after zero communication, it makes me wonder if this business is actually still in business. Hopefully I receive my order, but online buyer beware. After looking again, it appears there was a review very similar to mine one month ago. Doesn't leave me feeling hopeful. The one week count starts now .....”

Minimal fish selection, tanks were not the cleanest, plants were all in one tank, and difficult to see what they looked like. While owners were very nice, they seemed more interested in sitting on the couch, eating chips, and watching TV rather than engaging with the customers. After leaving there, we went next door to the Mexican restaurant and ate lunch, which was very good and made the trip worthwhile.”
