Fish Barn

So glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem! My boyfriend and I are new to the hobby, and the staff were incredibly helpful and never made us feel judged. They have a great selection, everything from beginner friendly fish to more rare finds along with water treatments, foods, decor, you name it. Plus, the dogs roaming around the shop are adorable and add to the charm.

Massive selection of freshwater fish! Even if you are not local, this place is so worth the drive. I'm from Waterloo and this is my main fish store. I've had tanks for 20+ years and I always find something new and interesting here. Cody is super helpful and the fish are gorgeous.

Very knowledgeable with a pretty vast selection of fish and accessories. Just a very good overall experience and even better being able to support local as opposed to chain store. Highly recommend!

Fish are always healthy and decently priced. The owner is always polite and willing to share knowledge or answer questions without making you feel stupid. I drive an hour one way to visit and that in itself says a lot. BONUS- they have a loyalty program with rewards!!
