Excellent!! Huge selection of salt and fresh fish, inverts, corals, plants, drift wood and dry goods. Picked up a school of Cory cats that are happy and very energetic. One tip, there is a line toward the front of the fish section to be helped. Employees don’t necessarily “float” and grab you while you’re looking as is typical some places. Sad to see a rash of reviews from people who clearly don’t have a clue. Do your research and do things the right way ✌️ 2 months on of the 23 corys and 40 neon tetra are in perfect health. Don't be a loser and post a review instead of doing a water change. I've never seen a fish thrive because a Karen called for a manager.. everything is WYSIWYG. You picked it, it's your tank. The visible water quality issues are clearly leading to other patrons confused lack of success. Poor fish Update 2- Added 75 ember tetra and 10 gold honey gourami. Every single one is perfect health next day and schooling happily! June 25- Amazon swords, 40 zebra danio, 20 Julie Cory, 6 Yellow shrimp, 9 scissor tail doing excellent!

The workers there not helpful at all. They seemed pissed off that I asked for help to bag fish. Telling me what to get and not to get after I spent hour looking at what I want. All the tanks have some kind of parasite or worms. Twice I’ve been there for catfish and anglefish and brought them home to the next day dying for catfish and anglfish wouldn't eat for 3 days but looked full so I know it’s had worms. It’s eventually died on 4th day. They won’t take returns for the lifeless fish that they don’t take care of. Do not buy fish here unless you are ok about getting scammed. Better off going to petsmart or petco

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I bought a fish, associate Dillon was great and helpful, nothing bad for him. Bought my fish, took them home, put them in the tank. Fish pooped out a worm, thought it was floating poop, took it out and it was moving and wiggling. Next morning the fish died. The fish in the tank above at the store were already dead too. Took the dead fish back to the store in a bag, they wouldn’t do anything. The manager was a super rude disrespectful girl. She couldn’t even look at me, my boyfriend or my friend when talking to us. She was just staring at the computer the entire time. Wouldn’t apologize, and took no accountability. She had no emotion or empathy and was basically telling us to just get out because she didn’t care. I’m attaching pictures of my dead fish so you can see. I didn’t get the managers name but it was a women with brown hair. Worst manager i’ve ever encountered.

Very large tropical and subtropical fish species. Large tanks to keep everyone entertained and close enough to eye level for littles to see the fish. Came here from Lombard on a whim and left with 12 new fish. Friendly help although they seemed short staffed. The staff is very knowledgeable about what fish to place with others.

This place has a great selection of fish and aquarium plants and I come here often for plants for my tank. Most of the staff is extremely friendly, but unfortunately I had a horrible experience here recently that made me disappointed. Bought 3 African Dwarf Frogs on Dec 23th, and when I got home one of the frogs was floating weakly at the top of the bag. I decided to isolate the two living frogs in a holding tank and the one sickly one in its own water that came from the store in a second holding tank. The next morning on the 24th the weak one died, and one of the 2 frogs in the other holding tank also died. This place has a 48 hour guarantee for frogs. Unfortunately, This place was also closed on Christmas Day. I called on the 26th in the morning and explained to a male employee over the phone what happened, and he told me to bring in the frogs and he would grant me an exchange, since they were closed on Christmas Day at the 48 hour window (mind you both frogs passed within 24 hours of buying them). Drove 20 minutes to the store and was directed to speak to a female employee in charge of the aquarium section. Unlike all the other employees there, she was extremely rude. I told her I brought my dead frogs in for an exchange and she abruptly told me “Wheres your water sample? No exchange without a water sample.” (Employee over the phone did not explain I needed a water sample.) I explained to her the above situation regarding the frogs’ deaths; she cut me off and said, “Its been more than 48 hours.” I told her they passed on the 24th and they were closed Christmas Day so I couldn’t even come in if I wanted to. She replied with, “You could have called yesterday.” Really? On Christmas day when the store is closed? Not only was she rude, but didn’t even give me a chance to speak without cutting me off. Since I drove 30 mins out of my way, I decided to buy two more frogs while I was there. But honestly, if I knew they wouldn’t take them back I wouldn’t have gone back. It was a complete waste of my time.
