Top Shelf Aquatics

My wife wanted a Laffy taffy goniopora. Looked beautiful on the website Purchased a 1/2" frag. What a joke It was about half of the half inch frag plug It may have looked halfway decent the first night we had it. Let me note all of my other coral looks fantastic! This frag was so so small and weak from being cut and then shipped out. Never looked halfway decent at all. Upon contacting then they told me "not all frags do well in peoples tanks. Cheap, cheap piece of garbage. I might as well have thrown the $100 in the garbage. Expected way more from them They could've replaced the frag since nothing happened from day 1. I don't ever write reviews. This however I'm not letting slide. If I could give 0 stars I would. Thoroughly disappointed w this company. I will never buy anything from here again

I've been a loyal customer of Top Shelf for many years and have always been impressed with the store and its staff. Recently, I started using their maintenance services, which have been outstanding. Isiah, the technician who comes to my home every two weeks for water changes and maintenance, is extremely polite and knowledgeable. When I first hired Top Shelf for maintenance, my tank was struggling, but Isiah and the store's staff knew exactly what to do to get it back on track. Since then, my tank has been thriving, and I love seeing my fish happy and healthy. One of the things I appreciate most about Top Shelf is their ability to special order fish for me. Isiah always makes sure to bring the fish I want on his next visit, which reduces stress on the fish and makes the transition to their new home much smoother.

I visited Top Shelf Aquatics on Father’s Day while on vacation from Michigan, and it was an amazing experience. John B. gave me a tour of the coral farm, which was incredible to see, and Tomas, the general manager, was very helpful and knowledgeable — both made me feel welcome even though I was just visiting. I’ve also ordered dry goods from them many times, and everything always arrives correct, well-packed, and on time. The store is beautiful, the livestock is healthy and vibrant, and the staff clearly care about what they do. Whether you shop in person or online, I highly recommend Top Shelf Aquatics!
