Great staff!!! Extremely knowledgeable and care about the pets in the store 😊 The kits they sent us home with were a huge bonus, and we got kennels for them to sleep in. We took 2 pups home with us and they are soooo well behaved already.

The staff were extremely friendly and the pets looked healthy and very cute. I had a great time conversing with the employees and could tell they were working hard to maintain the establishment. I even saw one small female employee help an elderly customer take a large bag of dry food to her car. The downsides were that the wet cat food selection seemed small, there was a lot of soft poo under the puppy cages, and there was a male guinea pig that was alone in its enclosure (they are easily stressed when alone). I would come again but hope that management could hire more staff to make sure the mammal enclosures get more attention.

Bought our puppy here. Owners are very friendly and truthful. One employee, girl told me they don’t get a breed in often but they actually do. So if you do buy, talk to the owner or her son, they are upfront with you. I ended up buying our puppy here after talking to them. We love her and thank you for being upfront.

to say i’ve never been a fan of petland is an understatement. i’ve never agreed with their hyper fast breeding and selling policy and the way they take care of animals in store, but what i found in their store the other day was appalling. I went there yesterday after my betta fish had died that morning to play with some puppies and cheer myself up. I stopped by the betta fish to see a betta in a (maybe) 1 gal jar with no lid, filter, heater, or space for a fish to move. I was there for quite sometime and had not seen the fish move so I asked one of the attendants if they would be willing to surrender him in which she told me that the fish had belonged to one of the other employees and he had it on display to show what a betta tank should look like. I told her that was surprising considering there was no heater or filter in the tank to which she told me they DON'T NEED A HEATER OR FILTER AT ALL. Any person with a brain could do a quick google search and realize that a heater and filter especially in a tank that small is essential to a betta’s health. It also hit me deep in my heart that there was no lid on this jar considering my betta had died that morning from jumping out of his tank when there WAS a lid. It’s disgusting to see that petland employees that are supposed to provide advice to new pet parents are spreading misinformation and neglecting the needs of living animals. All they care about is the money. I HEAVILY STRESS to anyone looking to find a pet to ADOPT NOT SHOP.

They have a great selection of fish (both saltwater & fresh) for purchase. They also have a few snakes & other reptiles to choose from. They didn't really have much of a selection of birds, but they had a ferret (was lonely) and a few gerbils for sale. The store does have puppies for sale, but in my opinion, they are WAY too pricey. The store was clean, the sales staff were friendly & knowledgeable. But if you are looking for anything exotic, or unusual in the pet department, this wouldn't be the place to shop. The store seems to be based mainly around fish & Aquarian life. There were a few cute puppies, but unless you are desperate for a pup & have plenty of money to shell out, I would say look elsewhere. I will say they are AKC registered & it does come with food, kennel & all required shots, but $5,000.00 is just too extreme for me.
