Incredible store, all the beautiful saltwater and freshwater things under one roof! Great friendly staff and helpful! Check them out and support the local stores!

We purchased three lemon tetras and five Von Rio tetras for our established, planted aquarium. Almost immediately after releasing the Rio tetras into the tank, we noticed clear signs of ich (white spots covering the Rio tetras) - see photos. I called the store the same day, but they insisted there was nothing they could do, claiming, "Ich can be caused by anything, even just stress from your tank conditions." In reality, they quickly realized their Rio tetra stock was infested with ich and quarantined them right after selling some to us. Two days later, one of the lemon tetras died, and within 48 hours, all of our fish were wiped out. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake and offering a refund, they refused to provide any compensation. The store doesn’t offer refunds—only store credit—which is incredibly frustrating. This rigid policy is especially unfair to beginner fish keepers who might not know which fish are compatible with their tank. Sometimes fish simply don’t get along, and in those cases, a return should be warranted. Unfortunately, this store has no flexibility in such situations. To their credit, the employees are nice and helpful. However, the owner is a different story. He wasn’t particularly friendly and outright told me all my fish would die if my pH was below 7.4, a comment that clearly showed he had no experience with CO2-injected planted tanks. While I generally prefer to support local businesses, I can’t recommend buying fish here unless you’re absolutely certain the stock is healthy and compatible with your tank. Their rigid policies, lack of refunds, and the owner’s dismissive attitude make them a poor choice compared to Petco, Petsmart, and Pet Supermarket.

This LFS is amazing! Great staff, awesome inventory, cool critters. They set me up with a great product for a beginner called “The Hello Reef Tank” it’s an all in one kit. Like it actually comes with EVERYTHING you need to start a saltwater aquarium. The tank, gear, live rock, sand, and even step by step tutorial videos with a support team to assist with any questions or concerns you may have! I highly recommend this place. Seriously one of the best in the business. They currently do not ship live stock but I talked with them and they are in the works of getting this setup. I’m waiting for the day they do! For the beginners out there wanting to start a saltwater tank, I HIGHLY recommend the Hello Reef kit!

Really adored the service from this shop! Great selection and so much to choose from. Employees were willing to work with us since we had to travel back to Alabama. If we ever come back, this will be one of our first stops.

I was so happy to have found this fish store, the staff including Tim and Alyssa have been so helpful and resourceful to me and my husband. We have several fish tanks and we constantly need supplies and questions on upkeep and feel they are always so helpful and friendly and attentive to our needs when we come there. We live 20 minutes away and would choose this store over any other in a heartbeat because of their amazing service. Seriously the best aquarium store we’ve ever been to and they always have what we need and if they don’t they will and can order it. They take their time and don’t try and just try and rush a sale with you, you can tell they care about your fish and want to help. Really again want to shout out to Tim and Alyssa they are so wonderful!
