I had an aged 75 gallon tank prepared 2 months before shipment. Upon arrival all the fish were stressed but wasn’t really concerned. By the next morning I decided to feed them a little to see there state. 3 are great but 3 remained in hiding. No big deal for less than 24 hours. This though continued so I reached out and was told to isolate the 3 that were hiding and not eating. Treat them with metronidazole and raise temps. Ok tried but those 3 never ate and hid almost all the time. Unfortunately they never did eat and died. The remaining 2 are doing excellent in the original tank but 1 is acting strange but eating a little. I’m a fish breeder for 50 years. I rarely buy fish. To get fish from another source scares me and this is why. I did notice long stringy poop from them within the first week. I contacted Hans again with my dissatisfaction with the fact that they were shipped with parasites to no avail. Not how I would’ve answered my customers but I just learned an expensive lesson. I spoke to other customers in my local club and some of their experiences were even worse than mine. Just be aware.”
