Just Fish

store seemed dirty and disorganized. Fish tanks were kind of dirty. for the prices that they charge. could definitely use some type of overhaul. Something to give you a better feeling when you walk in. I just didn't get that friendly vibe. Too much stuff jammed into ,the one little store. The second you walk out the door there's no guarantee/refund if something dies. I will spend a few extra dollars and go to Petco or somewhere . So I can get least get some sort of guarantee or refund if an animal passes. Animals are good at hiding their illnesses. At least 15 day health guarantee on rabbits and guinea pigs, should be offered. Petco has a thirty day guarantee. if you're so sure that your animals are healthy and happy then there should be no issues with offering some type of a health guarantee. Organize your store." Sometimes less is more!"

The animals are cool and there’s a lot of variety. My issue with this place is that it is insanely dirty, you can literally feel yourself getting sick from breathing in the air. And if being in there is making ME nauseous, I can’t imagine the health of the animals themselves. A lot of the animals look distressed. They aren’t being properly taken care of. There were roaches too. No disrespect at all. Y'all need to ensure that the environment you're keeping these animals in, especially sensitive animals like birds, are kept clean and safe.

I was just told that a sponge on the intake tube on a hang on the back filter was a mistake and I've been doing it for years with no problems. I used to work at an aquarium fish store. I respect that people do it all kinds of ways but it's been working for me.

I love coming to this store!! It’s always so awesome each time I go in. The choices in fish are great, they are not your everyday “pet-mart” fish. ALOT of different choices for salt and fresh water. Tons of live plants. The prices are nearly the same as your “pet-mart” but just better quality and overall heath. Real fish keepers could appreciate this fish store.

All 9 fish I purchased from this store died within a week. I called and gave my tank parameters, offered to bring in a water sample, but was told that drip acclimating my fish with their new tank water for an hour prior to adding them to my tank was wrong (as it’s already done by the breeder and doesn’t need done again? Lol what?), my pH was too low (even though any research you do online says otherwise). There was nothing the Store could do for me. Money wasted, fish dead, and false information given to customers. Tried to stay strong with the mom and pop stores, but Petco it’ll be.
