MC Aquatics are the pros! They just helped with the nightmare task of moving my huge 264 gallon reef and I’m so glad I chose them for the job. They were professional and handled every part of the project with care, experience and integrity. They are amongst the elite in the business/hobby. I wouldn’t trust anyone else for my reef needs. Thank you MC Aquatics you guys are awesome!

My experience with MC Aquatics was honestly one of the best I've had in far too long. Somewhat new to this hobby, like many I quickly fell in love with a specific brand when it came to my tanks, filtration and media, heating, etc., but was unable to locate anyone locally or online to order them from. Then I found MC Aquatics, which honestly has the best selection I've seen. When there was a small issue with my order, Love from MC Aquatics immediately called me not just to inform me, but to proactively offer me several options to resolve the issue. When I encountered a second issue with the delivery and contacted Love, I wasn't met with push back or resistance, but immediate empathy and an obvious and genuine desire to help make things right. It may seem odd that I'm handing out a 5 star review after encountering a few issues. The thing is, in today's world finding a company that truly stands behind what they say and puts the customer first is incredibly rare. It's also worth my loyalty, which they will have for life. I'm less concerned with cost than I am about getting a quality product from a company that genuinely cares about their customers and the animals. Thank you Love and MC Aquatics, you've earned a customer for life!! Update: Only one week in, but had to share how much I love this tank!! It's freshly planted and not fully stocked yet, but the quality of the tank is above reproach. I'll update again once I have all my fish in and am a little further along. 🤩 🐠

After the unfortunate closing of Neptunes Tropical Fish, I found myself at MC Aquatics. I purchased a few fish and snails for my freshwater tank and made the proper introduction procedure into my tank. Soon after the introduction, (a few days ago), I clearly saw the lack of quarantining of new fish by the store, as my tank ERUPTED with ich (parasitic white spots) I lost all of the new fish I had bought as they were already infected when I got them. Now I am struggling to keep my other fish alive. I will continue to shop here not because I want to, but because it’s the only place around.

I have been very disappointed by the service at aquatics store on the front range. I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted when entering. Also, all of my questions were answered and the staff was very welcoming, especially Emmy. I picked up a bunch of stuff on sale and made out like a bandit. I will definitely be back!

I am an experienced aquarist, owning many fish over 5 years old, and like other reviewers that had previously used Neptunes, I tried out MC Aquatics upon their closure. I was impressed with MC’s selection of freshwater fish, and I bought a few to see how it would go, as I was excited by the potential. Unfortunately, after my first purchase, my whole tank broke out with Ich (first time I’ve ever had an outbreak in 5+ years) and I think I was sold some fish that did not properly get quarantined. I lost 2 of the new fish and one of my older fish while I got it under control. I later decided to give them one more shot, thinking maybe it was a lesser experienced employee, and purchased some tetras and Rasboras. After introducing these to my tank, half of them died, and several other tetras in my tank started passing away in response, as I lost 4 well-established fish that had been otherwise healthy, which was definitely a 1-2 punch. After I brought this up with the store, they gave me a hard time about their return policy, which I had inquired about in advance in good faith, and they reluctantly they took care of it. I don’t trust MC Aquatics whatsoever, and I would highly recommend going elsewhere, as you not only risk losing your new fish, but also your entire aquarium.
