I am very happy with everything about Champion Nishikigoi from their efficient ordering and professional shipping procedures and the best part is the high quality Koi. I absolutely love my new koi.

It took me a lot of effort to finally find this koi shop, but I’m so glad I did. Their koi are imported straight from Japan, and that’s exactly what I wanted. I live in Connecticut, and honestly, it’s really hard to find pure Japanese koi in the whole New England area — and even the ones you do find aren’t cheap or the quality’s just not there. On top of that, they have great after-sales service, which is super important to me. If you’re looking for real, high-quality Japanese koi, this is the place to go.

Best koi fish seller I’ve been to. I’ve bought koi fish from here for the last 6 years, and I was always impressed by the customer service, quality and beauty of fish. I have bought about 15 koi fish here, ranging from $3000 - $600. All beautiful “keepers”. The premises are clean and professionally run, the place is huge and the choice is vast. Just recently, I discovered that this place is fantastic, in a different way: I moved to San Francisco and the professional who built our new pond, recommended a seller in Oakland (a shorter drive, in other words; and it was supposed to be top notch). I was so disappointed (little choice, the prices were very high) when I got there that I turned on my heels and drove all the way down to San Jose. We got 4 gorgeous, healthy, lovely koi fish to a very appropriate price. The staff is always super friendly and in a good mood, which is always lovely to witness. Makes the buying experience even better. The fish are handled carefully and gently. And I am always in awe when I look at the biggest koi fish they have - majestic, curious, smart creatures! To sum it up: I will never go to any other koi fish seller. This is, hands down, the best in the entire broader area!

I am in love with my Tancho Beni Ginga that you were so kind to bring to the koi show in Louisville for me to pick up while i was there. Then i found a really nice Asagi while i was there. Great fish! Great people to but from.

Champion is a great place for finding quality Koi. They are fair priced and easy to have shipped to you. I have been receiving koi from them for over 5 years and never had a problem with any of their fish. No diseases - no damage - survival rate100%. I am about 150 miles from San Jose but once I was in the area and went to their physical location. It was clean, well organized and knowledgeable people were there to answer questions. Currently I have about 60 Koi in a 22,000 gallon pond and Champion is the only place I trust to buy additional fish.
