## About

Tucked into Roseville, California, Your Reef Aquarium has built a devoted following among Sacramento-area reef keepers for one simple reason: the corals are outstanding. This is a shop laser-focused on saltwater reef livestock, and that focus shows. Reviewers consistently highlight the vibrant, healthy frags on display—torches priced at roughly $100 that command two to four times that online, hammers, frogspawn, zoa colonies, and more. The selection rotates, but the quality bar stays high.

The store is smaller than some of the big-box aquarium shops in the greater Sacramento area, and that's part of its appeal. The owner is deeply embedded in the reefing community, willing to walk customers through compatibility questions—like whether frogspawn plays nicely alongside an eel and existing hammers—with genuine care and patience. Multiple reviewers describe him as the kind of person who makes you excited to grow your reef tank, not just sell you a frag and send you on your way.

Your Reef Aquarium also ships corals, and first-time online buyers report solid communication, especially when shipment hiccups arise. One customer noted that zoas and hammers purchased online bounced back after transit stress, which speaks to healthy sourcing and proper packing.

The shop's resilience is part of its story, too. After a poisoning incident that wiped out livestock, the owner rebuilt his inventory from scratch and came back strong—a testament to his dedication. Customers who had been searching across Roseville and Sacramento for a dependable saltwater store describe the relief of finally walking through these doors.

Pricing is competitive across the board, and deals are common—one reviewer walked out with four frags for $180, including a freebie. If you're building or stocking a reef tank anywhere near the Sacramento metro, Your Reef Aquarium is a destination worth the drive.

> There people will never answer their phone when you try calling them. Their service sucks. All day I was trying to contact them and they didn't answer. I used to love their customer service but now they suck big time.

> Went in person! Here’s the story:
Me and my boyfriend had been COMBING sac, Roseville, and all over for a good saltwater store- with healthy aquatic life and frags. Me and my partner went to 3 other stores before finally coming across your reef.
Needless to say, when I walked in the door I was so thrilled! The owner is beyond knowledgeable and so so friendly! I asked about frogspawn being compatible with my eel, as I have a few hammers already- answered my question with no problems and was so sweet!

Now onto the frags- oh wow! The selection was incredible and for amazing prices! His torches, which I’ve seen go for 200-400$ online- he was selling for $100 or so! Incredible! I ended up spending around 180$ on 4 frags! I got 3 full price and the cheapest free :)

The store had been poisoned and had to rebuild, which had been horrible news!!! The fact the owner came back so strong with such amazing frags is astounding! Good on him! This store truly does deserve more business. Will be sharing this business with friends, family and school!

> I give this place 5 due to great communication during a shipment issue. For a first time online buyer of coral, I was pretty nervous but the zoas and hammers have bounced back! Will definitely buy a frag pack once weather is warmer.
