Give them a shot ,it’s not all bad please read ! My only complaint would be a mix up on an order , that lead to me having to replace the order. Just due to a message not being relayed properly. But also shame on me for not reading that they take 10 days to process orders. That’s to long to IMO especially when paying for faster shipping. Other than that , they were very nice and helpful . I was sent two beautiful 2inbdyThai Orandas! When I upgrade their current home I plan to order more goldfish from here. I waited about a month to post this . Because I wanted to really give these guys a chance the settle in before I posted. Both fish are healthy and beautiful! I wish they included water Parameters to help with acclimation. But lucky for me I’ve been In the hobby for a while. But for a new person in the hobby a guide would be helpful. Overall I’m pleased with my order and the price I paid. These guys are beautiful and arrived healthy . They are so peaceful to watch and really do have personality. Coast Gem did a great job taking care of me and I’m excited to order from them again !

My favorite aquarium store in San Diego! Coast Gem USA has a great selection of freshwater fish and supplies for your aquarium. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and he's always greeting you with a smile. They have some of the best deals and an awesome selection. They have some of the best betta fish I have ever seen. They also have a very nice variety of gold fish and koi. This place is a all around go to for your fish needs. The fish are very healthy and lively. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that has aquarium needs.

Ordered $210 of guppies from this place, took them 27 days to ship them. They're return policy is not nearly as good as other online distributors such as livefishdirect.com. Got the gupps in the tank and 3 of them, that were extremely small, were dead the next day. This is an established tank and has danios and tetras doing great in it. The fish they sent had damaged tails, dorsal, and pectoral fins. Will never buy from this company again. I just hope this review helps someone from making the same poor decision as I did.

They sent me a sharkchu by mistake was i little upset but don’t want to put him through shipping stress on the way back, will have to raise a sharkchu, but the other 7 goldfish came super high quality and amazing, arrived in 2 days all the way to puerto rico!! the 3 ranchus were amazing quality , super active and healthy, the 4 orandas are super amazing. Edit (They gave us a $50 dollar credit for the deformed sharkchu but we had to pay shipping $45 plus a price difference for the new fish)

I ordered 2 wild type bettas from Coast Gem and although it took a while to receive the fish, I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I ordered in the winter and knew that because of weather it might take a while for them to ship. I finally recieved the fish in February. This might seem like a long wait, but I recieved updates along the way and was very happy that they weren’t shipped while temperatures were extremely cold. Wow! These fish were definitely worth waiting for. I would recommend ordering from Coast Gem USA. You won’t be disappointed. Healthy, high quality fish are worth any wait that you might experience. Packing was phenomenal.
