AMAZING!!! such wide variety of plants, fish, and aquarium supplies. the gentleman with long hair who works in the fish section is super knowledgeable and really helpful. prices are unbeatable!! the young caucasian woman who works there is so sweet as well! she checked me out and answered all my questions about supplies for my tank! while we were heading out we got to talk with the owner ted who is such sweet and kind soul. he showed us so many fun magic tricks, you can tell he really enjoys his job and talking with people who come in!! i’ll never go anywhere else for my aquarium supplies!

This store has one thing going for it… the prices. That’s about it. I always feel like the roof is going to cave in, literally. Everything is so dirty. Looks like a couple decades since someone cleaned the front windows and doors. Every direction you turn is a safety hazard. Hoses and buckets laying in walking paths. The customer service and lack of knowledge of staff is poor which really explains the appearance of their tanks. I feel bad for the fish. Looks like the center row they have finally done some tank maintenance but I wouldn’t buy a single fish from this place for fear of them being sick and contaminating my tank. Sucks because other than Pet Co no other store in Modesto sells Marine Life. I’ll drive to Sac first.

Iv been going to Tropical Haven from when i was 12yrs old im 49 yrs old my parents used to take me now I take my kids so IV been a proud customer for about 30 years I hope that tells you a lot about this place it's the best take my word for it they have everything you need always have take my word for it and you can take that to the bank

Love this place! Friendly and helpful, wont sell you more than you need. Haven't lost a single fish!
