Perfect Paws

Stopped by to pick up a cat collar and harness on my way back to the Valley with a new kitty. I love going into Perfect Paws every time I'm in Show Low for the fish and kitty needs. Great selection, knowledgeable sales clerks.

Every negative review on this place is from Someone who doesn't know what they're talking about about. Tyler, Willow, and Troy, and are awesome. The one time I ever had a problem that was on their end Tyler made me more than whole. I deal with these folks regularly and they are awesome people who know what they're talking about with the animals they sell, and anything they don't know off hand they find out for you. Its such a blessing to have a store that caters to exotics and bioactive out here in the boonies, especially one this nice. I've had better experiences with these guys than some of the larger herp stores in the valley, and will keep coming as long as I'm able. Thanks guys!

I moved here recently and I own a number of fish and exotics, which are hard to find food and supplies for. I try to support local business when I can, so happening upon this little shop was a nice surprise! They have some really niche stuff despite being in a small town and if they don’t have it, they will order for you. The staff are kind and very helpful. Appreciate you guys.

About a month ago I got a bearded dragon. $60 for him and $300 for the cage and then buying him everything he needed. We always kept fresh water in his tank, he had plenty of food, his temperature was regulated and he seemed happy at first. None of these variables changed and eventually he stopped eating, drinking, and moving less. Tonight he died. When I bought him I thought maybe he had bug guts on his mouth, and one of toes looked broken but I thought maybe it would heal. I did my research and it looks like he died from mouth rot. (If left untreated, they die from the infection) I didn’t know this. I had even asked them about it and they didn’t give any additional info. The bearded dragon has had this on his mouth since we got him and I didn’t question it until now. I’m very upset we were given a sick reptile let alone spending $400 on all of it together. I’m very sad.

I cannot say enough good things about Mallory. I have been taking my 2 girls there for years for nail clipping. I have a 5 year old maltese who was horrifically abused by a groomer on the mountain (Hectors in Taylor, see reviews) when she was just a puppy. I have not taken her to be groomed since then and had just done it myself. However, this year after talking to Mallory, I decided to give her a go. She assured me this is what she does and she would be very delicate and sweet to my girl, Penelope. She even said I could stay if I wanted during the grooming. She did an amazing job and I will use her again and again. Thank you Mallory!
