Interesting all around store. I wouldn't call it a one stop shop for saltwater stuff as it's not a specialist location but if you need water in the east valley and don't want to drive to mesa or Chandler/Phoenix it's a good spot. Great variety of fresh and saltwater stuff and if you're into birds, reptiles , and arthropoda they have that as well. Do they have the best selection of SPS coral? No but it's worth a stop to check it out. Prices aren't nuts either.

Looking for an amazing pet store? Look no further than The Pet Shop. Best part is, they are locally owned and operated. Every time I visit, for my reptile needs, I am greeted by a friendly staff member who goes above and beyond. The owner is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and gives great advice anytime I ask for it. I am a teacher, (who gets a teachers discount) and have a few pets in my library. The owner let me come in and interview her about the animals and sharing interesting facts about them. I am so impressed with this store and everyone involved in making The Pet Shop a success. Thank you for being part of the neighborhood.

Been coming here for a year to try and reliably feed my snake. I'm told to come on Thursdays to get the appropriate size but like today even that is only successful less than 50% of the time. Now they won't be selling any live feeding mice. Edit, I've actually been coming here since 2018 :(
