This placed filled up in a matter of seconds. Of course I was intrigued PLUS they had some samples. I decided to squeeze my way inside and to my surprise they had a little bit of everything. Their prices were average. The staff consisted of a woman and her brother in law and they were both amazing! I ended up buying a few jerky and got my sample. I was a bit trapped. customers were asking for discounts if they bought more and asking for their items to be shipped. It got chaotic. I had to start pushing my way out of there. Despite all this.. I would go back!

Recently in Ketchikan, lots of options for salmon there but decided on this one. Shop is simple, no decorations, minimal overhead--prices were the lowest of the shops I saw (some don't even price their products). Purchased a pound of vacuum packed king salmon to take home. The box said "sampler" but all the pieces were the same flavor, no matter. Good king salmon doesn't need that much help. Flavor was rich, complex, and fishy (in a good way). No artificial colors or preservatives. Very lightly smoked ("taste the meat, not the heat" -- Hank Hill). Tasted like it was fresh off the dock, better than king I ordered by mail through SeaBear before. Gentleman with the eyepatch provided good conversation as I killed some time. Ketchikan does need a symphony orchestra. City council needs to get on this so dude has some culture to enjoy after dealing with all the shipgoers all day.

Hello, opened a package of your delicious King Salmon Jerky. While eating it I choked on a piece and when I looked it was a short piece of what looked and felt like monogiliment line. I examined the piece of salmon and it had another piece wedged in the jerky. The product is delicious but the quality control could be better. Just thought you'd want to know about this bad experience. I purchased it in Ketchikan at SakmonEtc.

Bought some smoked salmon here this summer and opened it intending to share with family for the holidays. It’s two years expired. Would have been expired before I even purchased. Don’t shop here.

Fantastic place to get your smoked salmon in Ketchikan and they ship cases of canned salmon for free! So i got 24 cans!
